Meet Waleska Laureano, better known as “Wale” (pronounced Wally). She currently works in Customer Service at Aalberts surface technologies – accurate brazing’s Manchester, CT shop. She has been part of the team for over 10 years.
If you have ever visited or called the Connecticut facility, you have probably talked with Wale. She sits in the front office and loves the daily interaction with customers, always doing her best to solve whatever issue is at hand. She credits the team in CT for working together well to help her job run smoothly. Wale says her customers, as well as her co-workers, are like her second family.
Wale’s first job was Direct Care Staff at a group home for kids. She worked with the children, ages birth to 13, before they were placed in foster care or were able to go back to their family. It was a rewarding experience for her.
The best advice Wale says is: “Hard work pays off. Whatever you do – make sure you give 100%.” Wale puts this into practice daily.
Wale was born in Morovis, Puerto Rico and now resides in East Hartford, CT. Outside of work you will probably find her shopping (she says this is her favorite hobby) or spending time with her son and her family. She also loves to cook and try new recipes, hosting cookouts in the summer. Another favorite activity is gardening. She keeps a flower garden and a vegetable garden. And she says she has a dog & chicken garden for her pets. And if that weren’t enough to keep anyone busy, she is working to establish a small backyard fruit tree orchard.
